The goal was to create a beer label design with a logo and collateral pieces for a client that was opening up a brewery. The final consisted of the two owners from Susky River Co. brewery to stop by our class and we would each present our designs to them. Ultimately, they might choose one or multiple people to use their designs for their beers. I was really ecstatic because I was one of the selected designers for their beer designs.
 
Each student was put in a group with three other students to work on their given name for their beer design. In my group, we were given the name Powder Boy. Afterwards, I dived deep into the research of the word Powder Boy and the history behind the war of 1812 at Havre de Grace. For my design I focused more on creating a fire texture background to depict the water and battle of this historic event. The black dispersion effect was then created in Adobe Illustrator to portray the gunpowder.
